We have fallen in love with Le Logis du Pressoir.  Life seems to have found a gentler rhythm and we head back to the rat race relaxed, refreshed and eagerly awaiting our next visit.

We’d have a lovely time here and the weather has been glorious.  The fantastic set up here (pool, toys, bikes etc) gave us a chance to recharge our batteries and spend time with the family while the children were entertained and happy.  It was a pleasure to come on holiday to such a child friendly house.  You could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful and we leave with terrific memories of our time at Le Logis du Pressoir.

Thank you so much!  From my first enquiry right up to our departure you have gone out of your way to offer advice, reassurance and knowledge and above all, in a lovely friendly way.  We have had a wonderful stay here; the location is idyllic, the gîtes spotless, comfortable and has everything we needed.  It was like home from home, just with better weather and lovelier views!  A special thank you to Tom for sharing his toys all week.  Five stars all around!  We hope to come back again.

Like many others before us, we feel we have discovered a real gem here at Le Logis du Pressoir.  The accommodation has been everything we could have hoped for and the best we’ve had in France.  The weather has been remarkable and the Loire Valley has so much to see and do.  We shall definitely need more trips here as it’s the perfect base.

We are finding it very difficult to leave after one of our best family holidays.  We could never have imagined such a warm welcome from a wonderful, generous family.  It’s been two perfect weeks; super trips out and fun-filled days in.  The children will be dreaming of the swimming pool, bat hunts and walks with Archie until we return next Summer.

Our second visit to Le Logis du Pressoir was certainly different from the first!  With a new addition to the family we didn’t manage the lazy mornings and big lunches we had enjoyed before but our baby absolutely loved playing with the cars under the trees and splashing in the paddling pool.  Thanks for another lovely stay.  We came back because we said that if we were lucky enough to have a second home abroad, it would be just like this.  Hope to see you all again soon.

Thank you so much for a wonderful week at Le Logis du Pressoir.  You could not have done more to make our stay more enjoyable.  The gîte is so beautiful and is in a perfect setting.  We loved sitting outside listening to the cuckoo in the evenings. A wonderful relaxing holiday.  If you do nothing more than sit outside with a glass of wine and some bread and cheese, you would have everything you want.  If you have bikes, do go and take a spin around the local forest, also the river, Le Thouet, has lovely long stretches, ideal for peaceful rides and picnics.  Great restaurants, recommended by Lisa, thanks!

This is our first visit to France and our first holiday as a family. Mark and Lisa both advised on trips around the local area with our baby Violet and this knowledge proved invaluable.  Our first family holiday will always be extra special.

Thank you to you all for welcoming us into you lovely home.  Our intention was to relax and do nothing in the sun.  Due to the change in weather, we were ‘forced’ to go out and hit the tourist trail.  In a way this was good because we had not forgotten, just put the back of our minds how beautiful it is in the Loire Valley.  This is one of the best kept and run gites we have stayed in.  The welcome basket and flowers were a lovely surprise – thank you!  We hope to return in the future and stay for longer.

We have had an excellent two week honeymoon at a perfect location, ideal for chilling out and relaxing.  It’s the first time we have done a gîte holiday in France and it certainly won’t be the last as we would be happy to come back to Le Logis du Pressoir and recommend it to our friends and family.  Much appreciated is everything Mark and Lisa have done for us on our honeymoon.

Merci beaucoup!  What would we do without an annual ‘bolt hole’!  Yes, as usual, we slept, relaxed, slept, relaxed, oh and even more.  It is like being in another world thanks.   We went for lovely walks along the river, loved Langeais château and the Oriental Gardens.  Fourth year next year and fifth to come….as ever, great holidays!

We had a very relaxing stay with the Wrights.  Le Pressoir has all you need to chill out even if the weather is unkind, a real den.  Plenty of restaurants to explore and even the supermarket can offer a few vintage wine surprises at bargain prices.  Lisa and Mark are perfect hosts and have their finger on the pulse with all the information you could need to make you feel like a local; a real short cut to the local ways.  Enjoy!
