Welcome Basket:
Your holiday begins here. On arrival, you will find a complimentary welcome basket in your accommodation, containing staple items and a few treats to help you settle in comfortably and enjoy your French vacances.
Welcome Pack:
A welcome pack of information is provided in each gite covering all aspects of your accommodation and our property. There is a separate information pack for local activities, services and facilities and places of interest, including ideas for entertaining children of different ages. As owners on site, we are always happy to help with ideas and local knowledge.
Linen and Towels:
All bed linen, bath and hand towels are included as part of your stay with us. A weekly linen and towel change is provided free of charge. You will arrive to freshly made beds (and cots) so there is no bed making to worry about after a long journey. We ask that guests bring their own towels for poolside use. Alternatively, we provide a pool towel hire service for a small fee.
Laundry Facilities:
We have a purpose-built utility room equipped with automatic washing machines, sinks dedicated for hand washing, ironing facilities and washing lines available for all guests.
Kitchen Equipment:
Our kitchens are well equipped and items such as hand held blender, mini-mixer and mussel pot are also available to guests. Hand towels, tea towels and cleaning cloths and sponges are all provided by us as well as a supply of tea, coffee, salt, pepper, cooking oil and kitchen paper and aluminium foil.
Barbeques:
Le Petit Logis, les Rosiers and les Lauriers each have their own quality Weber charcoal barbeque and le Pressoir
has a professional caterer’s gas barbecue.
Sports Equipment and Entertainment::
Aside from a great swimming pool, we have a professional outdoor table tennis table for your use, a five aside football area (for those budding Beckhams) and a quality boules set and swing ball. There is a selection of reading material in each gite and a range of board games and extensive DVD library for all guests to make use of.
Play Area:
In our play area (the highlight for all our young visitors) we have a wendy house, swings, slides and various ‘cars’ and tricycles available for toddlers.
Bikes:
We have a selection of bicycles (adult and youth) which are free for your use locally. The surrounding countryside is relatively flat and roads are quiet which makes for pleasant cycling. Alternatively, bicycles can be hired at most local tourist sites for exploring those areas too.
Parking:
We have a designated private parking area for our guests, set away from the main gardens and play areas.
Babysitting:
We are happy to help organise babysitting services with prior notice (and to arrange for parents to meet with the babysitter beforehand if desired).
Home Cooked Meals:
Delicious home cooked meals are available to order from a local lady. Please request details upon booking.
