| Les Lauriers is a typical longère style property full of original features. Exposed tuffeau stonework, original antique flooring and beams along with two huge open fire places, one of which is designed with an integral bread oven. At the front of the building you can sit amongst many varieties of well established shrubs, such as hibiscus, lavender and roses, in the fragrant garden. This gîte can also be hired with our separate guest room to provide a 3 bedroom accommodation option |

*Ground Floor: The property has two front entrances; the first will lead you directly into a large attractively decorated lounge complete with a striking fireplace and original bread oven. Here you will find comfortable lounge chairs, sat t.v./dvd/hifi, games and a selection of reading material, combining all the modern comforts of home with a host of original features. The second entrance leads you directly into a very spacious typical French style kitchen with open plan dining area, well equipped with quality appliances (including dishwasher and microwave), centred around another large stone fireplace adding further character to this family size gîte.
*First floor: A staircase from the dining room leads you upstairs into 2 en-suite bedrooms (double and twin). Full of charm and individual character including original floors and wood beams, each of the bedrooms has a pretty oak framed dormer window overlooking the courtyard garden and has been tastefully decorated with French style period furniture. Both rooms comprise modern en-suite facilities. |
